Ash Wednesday Begins a Lenten Fast

Going a bit further than tradition, I am limiting
myself to no Meat, with the exception of fish 
and chicken, and approximately 500 calories
per day for the 6 weeks of Lent
in the hope that a toxic cleanse
leads to some progress on weight loss.

Apricot-Mango Greek Honey Yogurt 
100 calories
Tea



Crown Prince Brisling Sardines in Soybean Oil
5 Saltine Crackers
275 calorie lunch

Tomato Bisque Soup
200 Calories per cup


I sat with Cory and Mary at the Tower Cafe
and watched them eat the most
delicious food. Not a twinge of regret.
Amazingly, I am not hungry (it's before the
the soup is ready to eat).

Footnote: Raised the daily calories to 1200 per day with added exercise
